History & Timeline of my 95 BMW M3

This car has a lot of history with me so I figured I would keep track of what I have done and when I did it.

June 02
I purchased my Cosmos Black M3 Lux package with aftermarket clears and tint. The car had 56k miles on it. I picked the car up in Santa Cruz CA, a short drive from my house. I installed my first HID kit right away. Back in 02 HIDs were the "cool" thing to have so I bought a set of inpro headlights and a Phillips 6000k HID kit for my first mod. I also replaced the aftermarket clears with OEM.

August 02
Next was exhaust. After listening to a bunch of audio clips, I decided to go with AA gen 3. Not too loud and I loved the sound the best.

January 03
Was a big month. Some idiot ran into the front of my car back in late November, nothing major but I took the opportunity to go big on the mods Rieger Infinity 1 front VIS CF hood 97 + nose panel and Blacked out grills ZKW headlights and gen 3 DDE (much better then the inpros, what was i thinking?) OSRAM 6000k HID kit (a lot bluer than the phillips) UUC ltw replica wing, AA tuning Intake, AA front strut bar, and I moved the phillips 6000k to the fogs. Next came wheels and then suspension.

February 03
I went with BBS CH 18 x 8.5 and H&R coilovers.

March 03
Bimmerfest was coming up and this would be the first year I would attend with My M3, I wanted to do something original that no one else had. I painted all my interior pieces Cosmos black, It was very easy to do since I already had wood interior from the lux package. I also painted my corner lights Cosmos black (and yes they still blink...sort of). I also had some Kamie eyelids added.

April 03
The trip to Bimmerfest 03 was a lot of fun. This was the first year I drove down with the Nor-Cal caravan, which included about 60-80 cars.

May 03
Time for the rear end. I added Rieger infinity 1 rear bumper and MA Shaw Carbon Fiber Trunk. I also had the door moldings painted Cosmos Black and had the UUC wing removed.

July 03
Was also a big month for the car. Mods were Sparco Torino seats in black, UUC BBK w red calipers, RE SSK w WSR, and finally a Rieger DTM Splitter (ABS).

December 03
Ordered my AA Supercharger. Became a member of Eurowerkz.

January 04
Time to upgrade those DDEs to Lightning Enhanced. I went up to Umnitza's house in the bay area and he did the installation for me. I was one of the first to have the new DDE on my car. At the end of the month my parts that I was waiting for finally arrived: AA Supercharger, UUC stage 2 flywheel, M5 Clutch, Autometer gauges boost, AFR, EGT NR auto aluminum gauge face, Ground Control Coilovers (Sold the H&Rs. I didn't like them).

The Year of 2006
I dropped out of the scene in '06. I had a lot of problems with the car. I took it to about 4 shops trying to get some major problems fixed, but no one seemed to have any idea what was wrong. This kind of pissed me off and I gave up on the BMW scene for a bit. I also moved to LA and started school at CSULB. This also took up most of my time. My car started to go down hill - a broken front bumper and cf splitter that got ignored for almost a year amongst other things. *Special thanks to Nick Owen (nickdrivesm3) for all the work you did to bring my car back to life! Nick is a master tech and found what no shop could find. To make a long story short Nick fixed my supercharger and all the other problems it caused. Thanks again Nick!
